A quilt of quiet moments

This month I have tried to make a practice of seeking out good. I have mined my days in search of the beauty hidden there instead of waiting for beauty to reveal itself. It required effort at first to go beneath the staleness of familiarity, but once I started looking, I did find beauty, an abundance of it.

I have looked for the light and found it most days. There has been darkness and rain but I found beauty in those things too. I have captured what I saw both with my camera and in memory.

I have gathered these scraps and patches of attention and intention and made them into a quilt of quiet moments, a patchwork of presence.
